Creating a Foundation of Faith and Equipping Children with a Biblical Worldview | 273

Welcome to the Teach Them Diligently podcast! Leslie Nunnery is joined today by Elizabeth Urbanowicz to discuss the importance of teaching kids to think critically and biblically, equipping them to discern truth from feelings, and the significance of a solid foundation for faith.

Elizabeth is a follower of Jesus Christ who is passionate about equipping kids to understand the truth of the Christian worldview. She is a former elementary teacher and the founder of Foundation Worldview where she develops comparative worldview and apologetics resources for children. Her goal is to prepare the next generation to be lifelong critical thinkers and, most importantly, lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.

Today, Leslie and Elizabeth will be talking about the role of parents in modeling critical thinking and faith, as well as the importance of getting kids in God’s Word, and she’ll address the challenge of addressing tough cultural issues and offers an overview of the resources available through Foundation Worldview.

Meet the Guest:

Elizabeth Urbanowicz is a follower of Jesus who is passionate about equipping kids to understand the truth of the biblical worldview. Elizabeth spent the first decade of her professional career teaching elementary students at a Christian school. After completing her M.A. in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, Elizabeth started Foundation Worldview, an organization that helps Christian adults equip children to carefully evaluate every idea and understand the truth of the biblical worldview.

  • Use tools and resources, such as the Foundation Worldview curriculum, to teach kids to think critically and engage with Scripture.
