Many moms feel like they don’t have enough patience to home educate their children. What do you do when your worst fears are confirmed and you find out you don’t have enough patience to continue homeschooling? Come learn about what patience is, what it isn’t, where it comes from, and how to grow and thrive in the pressure cooker of mothering.
Join Ann Dunagan and Leslie Nunnery for an evening just for moms. In addition to some fun and a wonderful time of worship together, Ann will be sharing her heart for moms– and we’ll be hearing from those of you in the audience as well. This is an evening you will not want to miss.
As Christian families, let’s raise our daughters to DARE TO DREAM about God’s purposes, to DARE TO CRY for the needs of the world, and to DARE TO OBEY God’s Great Commission. In this session, you’ll be inspired by God’s passion for the lost and the needs of the world. As homeschooling families, let’s help our daughters to find God’s clarity for life, with a love for His Word, a commitment to live for Him, and a compassion for others.
When we think of educating our children, we often think of our children sitting at desks or the kitchen table using textbooks and workbooks. While this kind of teaching/learning is enjoyable to some students, most students (and parents!) enjoy breaking out of the more traditional classroom setting in exchange for ideas and activities that are more fun! It is possible to incorporate alternative kinds of teaching and learning into your homeschool, and it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive! There are ways to use hands-on activities, dance, poetry, drama, experiments, fun literature-related activities, music, travel, and more to spice up your homeschool! If you’re in a homeschool rut or if you’re just not sure how to add a little fun and adventure to your homeschool, we would love to share some ideas and information with you! Your children will thank you (Ok…it may be years from now! But they will!) and your family may discover a new love for learning this school year!
Training a child sounds a lot easier on paper than lived out in real life. Brook Wayne provides practical ways to train children, inspiring listening skills, initiating meaningful conversations, and gently guiding a child’s heart when correction is needed.

As homeschooling parents, how can we prepare our children, to be arrows for Gods purposes? How can we prepare our hearts (through prayer and effective communication) to release our children to God? The Dunagans homeschooled for 27 years, teaching all seven of their children, all K-12 all now launched into their adult life, in International Business, Engineering, Global Missions, Christian ministry, Education, and the Arts with graduations, college success, joyful weddings, and many grandchildren! In this session, youll be encouraged, from a solid biblical foundation, for life beyond homeschooling with next-generation purpose. Lets aim and release our arrows, for the glory of God.
In the past fifteen years, we’ve seen a lot of changes in the homeschool community. There is much more pressure being put on homeschoolers to excel academically. We’ve gone from a few brave moms who, without access to mainstream curriculum, managed to give their children an excellent education, but we’ve forgotten what made it excellent. It was excellent because these moms had a vision for homeschooling. They weren’t trying to re-create school at home, they were simply being obedient to the One who had called them to be different. They knew that if He had called them, He would equip them. And they were right.
If you’re struggling to find joy in your calling as a homeschooling parent, if you’re looking for more LIFE in your homeschool, this is one workshop you won’t want to miss.

Most of us want to parent our children in such a way as to point them to Jesus, but do we really understand what that looks like? Join Leslie Nunnery as she gives Biblical insight into just what Discipleship-focused parenting actually looks like by examining the principles taught in scripture and giving personal examples of how that plays out in our modern world.
Young men have gone from storming the beaches of Normandy to storming the fridge for leftover pizza. The expectations our culture has placed on young men have decreased with every generation. So, the result has been a generation of young men who have traded purpose for play. How did we get here? Can we and should expect more from our young men? Do young men want to be challenged? This workshop will answer those three questions and share vital principles for demanding more from the next generation.
