A Time For Encouragement…

It’s hard to know what to say right now. It’s hard to know how to answer questions with 100% certainty. Every day, it seems like I find myself saying something to the effect of, “I never would have imagined…” or “I’ve never seen anything like that. I’ve read about it but never seen it…”

I think often of the old gospel song, “This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through…” I’m so grateful that by God’s mercies, we all have so much more to look forward to than what we see here on this earth. “Our treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.” 💕

This morning in my devotions, the Lord stopped me in my tracks as I read Romans 1: 12— I had never marked it before (and I have a VERY marked up Bible!) because it had never resonated the same way. I guess I had always taken it for granted.

Paul tells the Romans that he’s coming to them “that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.

We are to be mutually encouraged. Once again, we see in God’s Word how important it is for God’s people to be together. We see the power of living in community, of encouraging one another by our faith, by our experience, by our lives, by the joy we can share, and more.

We missed that mutual encouragement last year when we couldn’t get together. But, by God’s grace, we are planning to do so in 2021!

My friends, I can’t encourage you enough to join us there, so we can be “mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.”

Join with others who are like-minded, Christ-focused parents who seek as you do to teach their children diligently. Share your stories, your laughter, your fears. Pray with each other.

We’ll be having at least 4 opportunities for you to do that. So, please prioritize and plan to join us for TTDNashville, TTDRogers, TTDTexas, or TTD Mobile. You can get your ticket now, but we do believe they will sell out quickly with the social distancing measure that have been put in place by the venues.

We have a price increase coming on Jan. 14th, so don’t delay!
