Speaker: Ginger Hubbard Based on Ginger’s best-selling book, Don’t Make Me Count to Three! There is far more to parenting than getting children to “act” right. We have to get them to “think” right and to be motivated out of a love of virtue rather than a fear of punishment. Ginger equips parents to reach […]

When we feel that God is calling us to do a difficult work, we can be sure that he will use it to bless and encourage us as well as teach us a few things. Arguably, homeschooling is one of the most difficult tasks one can undertake, but the blessings are boundless! A wonderful side-effect of teaching and training our children is that we learn how unable we as mothers are. By learning that we are weak in ourselves, we have the opportunity to see how God is our strength.
Home education is as much about the heart as it is the mind. This is a great time to purposely present your children with service opportunities to help them to start thinking outside of themselves, and we will discuss some different ideas to get your creative juices flowing!
In November, many of us suffer from what we refer to as “Mid-semester blues.” We’re going to talk about that – as well as some creative ways to approach the holidays in your homeschool, engage others in your homeschool, and encourage your children to begin to cultivate a heart of service. Make sure you check back each week, so you don’t miss a single conversation!
