Who We Are
Our mission here at Teach Them Diligently is based off the instructions given to parents in Deuteronomy 6: 5-8.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
In his farewell address, when Moses is instructing the children of Israel about how they are to function in the Promised Land, he addresses parents first, underscoring the importance God places on strong, godly families for building churches and impacting culture.
We take this seriously, and we exist to strengthen and equip Christian homeschool families to Teach Their Children Diligently to love God and to love people and then help them have the resources they need to educate their children with excellence.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to equip Christian homeschool families to fulfill God’s calling within their homes and build up the Body of Christ. Through unity of faith, mature knowledge of God, and steadfastness in truth, we empower families to grow in all areas of life and faith, becoming more like Christ and impacting the world around them. (Taken from Ephesians 4: 12-15)
We do this through:
- Teaching through our books, podcast, and speaking
- Mentoring through the community we founded and the intensives we offer
- Challenging and Mobilizing through the events we produce
Our aim is to provide families with the necessary resources to carry out God’s purpose within their households and contribute to the development of the Body of Christ. By promoting solidarity, wisdom, and veracity, we enable families to progress in every aspect of their lives and faith, emulating Christ and making a beneficial impact on the world. TEACH THEM DILIGENLY EVENTS
Teach Them Diligently Homeschool Convention is a Christian homeschool convention that celebrates the focus of Christian home education — that is, the discipleship of children to glorify God. More than simply a convention about home education, we purposefully develop the themes of Missions, discipleship, and Christian parenting in addition to the traditional academic “how-to’s.”
We believe home education is a form of ministry. Whether we realize it or not, we reproduce who we are in our children, and consequently, homeschool families have a constant need for renewal and encouragement in Christ. This is the reason for Christian homeschool conventions; at least, this is the reason for the Teach Them Diligently Convention.
You’ll find the convention to be a waterfall of enrichment and encouragement in Christ, and a re-focus toward discipleship.
If you are a Christian homeschool family, this is the convention you want to attend. Teach Them Diligently Homeschool Convention is an experience that you don’t want to miss, and built for the entire family!
