This week, we’ll be praying for the believers in Niger, which is a hostile nation for believers.

Þ   Taste—Nigerien cuisine is heavily influenced by traditional West African flavors and ingredients such as millet, sorghum, rice, and vegetables. Popular dishes include djerma stew, tuwo, and fufu served with a variety of sauces and soups, and grilled meat such as goat, beef, or fish.  As we pray for Nigerien believers, check out these Nigerien recipes to make with your family.

Þ   Find—Niger is a landlocked country in West Africa, bordered by seven other countries. It has a varied landscape, including the Sahara Desert in the north, savannah in the center, and wetlands in the south. The Niger River flows through the southwest, providing a crucial water source. Þ   Pray– Nigerien Christians face many challenges, including persecution and discrimination. As a minority group in a predominantly Muslim country, they often face social, economic, and political marginalization. We should pray for their safety, protection, and strength in the face of adversity. We can also pray that they will have the freedom to worship and practice their faith without fear, and that they will have opportunities to share the love and message of Jesus with others.
