Whether you are starting with preschoolers or pulling kids out of “traditional” school, your first few years of homeschooling can be overwhelming. There are so many different curriculums to choose from, teaching and learning styles to discover. There’s your own family rhythm to adjust to and state requirements to figure out. There’s also often added pressure from family and friends. Why would any parent choose to attempt to teach fractions or (gasp) long division when they can leave it to the professionals? Our goal is to provide encouraging information about homeschooling basics, plus give you thoughtful and informative ideas on how to get started and stay the course.
