Ken Ham

Answers in Genesis

Nashville, TN

Since moving to America in 1987, Australian Ken Ham - president and founder of Answers in Genesis-U.S., the highly acclaimed Creation Museum (over 1.5 million visitors in four years), and visionary behind the construction of a full-size Noah's Ark - has become one of the most in-demand Christian conference speakers and talk show guests. A biblical apologist, Ken gives numerous faith-building talks to tens of thousands of children and adults each year (he receives hundreds of invitations to speak annually) on such topics as the reliability of the Bible, how compromise over biblical authority has undermined society and even the church (which is seeing a massive exodus of young people), witnessing more effectively, dinosaurs, races, etc.

Ken co-founded AiG in 1994 with the purpose of upholding the authority of the Bible from the very first verse. Ken is the author of many books on Genesis, including the eye-opening book Already Gone , co-authored by renowned researcher Britt Beemer on why so many young people have left the church, the best-selling The Lie: Evolution, and a number of children's books (Dinosaurs of Eden, D is for Dinosaur, A is for Adam, etc.). Other recent co-authored books include One Race, One Blood and How Could a Loving God?, and has co-authored the provocative book Already Compromised about Christian colleges and how they treat the authority of the Bible. In recognition of the contribution Ken has made to the church in the USA and internationally, Ken has been awarded four honorary doctorates: a Doctor of Divinity (1997) from Temple Baptist College in Cincinnati, Ohio, a Doctor of Literature (2004) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, a Doctor of Letters (2010) from Tennessee Temple University, and a Doctorate in Humane Letters from Mid-Continent University in Kentucky (2012).Ken and his wife, Mally, reside in the Cincinnati area. They have five children and seven grandchildren.

Why the 20's Generation Will Change the Church and Culture

Statistical research shows that approximately two-thirds of young people in America are leaving the church by the time they reach college age-with very few returning. In this keynote session, Ken Ham looks at data published in the book, Already Gone. Millennials who currently attend church are going to be the voice of the Church in the future, and we need to do something before we lose another generation. By taking a strong stand on biblical authority, rooting out compromise, and teaching apologetics, we can reclaim lost and coming generations for Christ.

Defending the Christian Faith in Today's World

Many people have the idea the battle between Christianity and humanism (or creation and evolution) is a battle over who has more "facts." However, the real battle is actually over the interpretation of the same facts. Until Christians understand that everyone has the same facts, but different interpretations of those facts (based upon different presuppositions or biases), they will not be successful in learning how to defend the Christian faith and think in a true Biblical manner. It's very possible you will never think the same way about this world after attending this keynote!

Developing a Truly Christian Worldview

This workshop shows how Genesis 1-11 is foundational to developing a truly Christian worldview. As Ken Ham walks you through the 7 C's of history, you will see how all the Christian doctrines essential for a truly biblical worldview are founded in the geology, biology, astronomy, and anthropology that is recorded in Genesis.

How to Present the Gospel in Today's Secularized Culture

Most evangelistic programs today—and most missionaries and evangelists—do not see Genesis as a key part in reaching people with the Gospel. In these times, however, an understanding of the history in Genesis (e.g. the origin of sin) is foundational to a full understanding of the Gospel message. Realizing how our culture now thinks (and has changed in its thinking) in relation to earth history is a key to know how people should be approached in presenting the Gospel!

How to Raise Godly Children in an Ungodly World

In this discussion, Ken Ham will give examples from his upbringing in helping parents understand the importance of training children from a truly Biblical foundation. What does the Bible say (not your opinion) on how to bring up children; how to train them; how to discipline children; and how to educate them? What should the priorities be in education? Come be inspired and equipped with answers as you lead your family in the truth!
