Melissa Jenkins and Kathy Lawson are twin sisters who have shared a lifelong passion for teaching and encouraging others on the educational journey.
Melissa Jenkins holds a Master’s Degree in Education and currently serves as a itinerant teacher for students with special needs. Her teaching career has spanned a wide range of learners—from babies who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing to college-aged students. She also spent years at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the College of Education, equipping future educators. As a military spouse, Melissa homeschooled her own children during different seasons of family life, giving her a unique blend of both classroom and home education experience.
Kathy Lawson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has taught in preschool, public school, and private school classrooms. What began as homeschooling her two children grew into a thriving co-op with more than 100 students. Through years of experience, Kathy has gathered a wealth of innovative ideas and practical tools that help make her approach to teaching fresh, engaging, and effective.
Together, Melissa and Kathy bring decades of experience teaching children from birth through college. Their goal is to support and encourage homeschooling parents by sharing strategies that inspire a lifelong love of learning. They are passionate about equipping educators with practical ideas that work around the kitchen table.
