Dr. Matthew Weathers

Matthew Weathers is passionate about developing young Christian leaders who desire to grow and live with purpose. He has served globally as a K–12 Christian school vice-principal, university instructor, cross-cultural leader, and student mentor. Matthew speaks at camps, conferences, chapels, and leadership events, teaches leadership at Bob Jones University, directs the summer LeadershipX camp, and hosts the Steps to Thrive podcast—“real talk about life and leadership for young Christians passionate to grow.” He currently serves as Chief Enrollment Officer at Bob Jones University and previously led the BJU Center for Leadership Development. Matthew is married to Fleur, a native New Zealander and Spanish professor at BJU, and together they are raising three young boys. He enjoys traveling with his family, staying active through fitness and snowboarding, officiating NCAA soccer games, and has completed multiple marathons and IRONMAN triathlons—including four IRONMAN in four consecutive days to raise $1 million for student scholarships.
