Dakota Lynch

As someone who was homeschooled K-12, Dakota has always appreciated the value of home education. When in 9th grade, he felt compelled to begin memorizing Scripture — a decision that dramatically transformed his life. After graduating, Dakota became involved with Scripture Memory Fellowship where he now serves as the ministry’s General Director. In addition to memorizing, Dakota enjoys photography, programming, and playing guitar. He and his wife, Laura, reside in the Dallas area.

Homeschooling: The One Thing You’ll Regret

Why did you choose to homeschool? If you’re like most parents, it’s because you want your children to receive a quality education and see life through the lens of Scripture. Tragically, many homeschool students walk away from the faith in adulthood because they know more about Scripture than they know Scripture itself. This workshop will help you achieve spiritual success as well as academic success in your homeschool.

In a time when darkness and confusion prevail, God’s Word is the ultimate source of light and understanding. Learn how (and why) to “rewire” your heart through Scripture memorization.

Preparing Your Children for Adulthood with Bible Memory

An unintended side effect of the digital age is that even classic memory verses like John 3:16 are hardly common knowledge—even among homeschoolers. As your children launch into adulthood, they need more than Christian ideas and biblical principles; they need the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God (Eph. 6:17). This workshop will include practical help for making Bible memory a regular part of your week.
