Chris Herrin serves as the Director of Admissions at Emmaus University, where he helps families navigate the college decision process with clarity, low-pressure, and a deep conviction to a boldly Christian education. With more than a decade of experience in admissions and ministry, Chris understands both the hopes and concerns parents carry as they guide their students toward life after high school.
He holds three master’s degrees in Christian Education, Theology, and Philosophy from Dallas Theological Seminary and Houston Christian University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Apologetics and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. This blend of education and experience shapes the way he equips families to think critically about the very important decision of where their student will attend college.
Known for his energy, humor, and practical wisdom, Chris loves helping parents ask the right questions and make decisions that honor both Christ and their student’s future. Originally from Dallas, Texas, He now lives in Dubuque, Iowa with his wife, Bethany, and their two children: Selah and Elijah.
