Andi Elliott

Andi Elliott has faced some of life’s most daunting challenges. When her
daughter, Charlotte, received a catastrophic diagnosis at just one year old, it
turned their world upside down. As a full-time caregiver and advocate in the
complex realm of Charlotte’s ultra-rare disease, Andi managed 24-hour care with
minimal support from doctors while balancing her home and homeschooling
responsibilities. Reflecting on this period, Andi shares, “Don’t believe the lie that
God won’t give you more than you can handle. I wasn’t strong enough on my
own, but my complete dependence on Him provided the strength to face each
day.”
Through these trials, Andi’s perspective shifted, teaching her to embrace life
fully, trusting that even in seasons where “self-care” seems impossible, God would
sustain her. She learned contentment and joy within her circumstances, finding
richness in her experiences despite the hardships. “If He can bless me despite my
circumstances,” she says, “I know He can do the same for everyone.”
After Charlotte’s passing at nearly eight years old, Andi redirected her focus to
her family in new ways. She and her husband opened a family campground, and
she builds and nurtures small businesses alongside her homeschooled teenage
daughter. As a homeschool consultant, speaker, and entrepreneur, Andi equips
parents with practical tools, planners, and strategies to organize their
homeschool, integrate life skills, foster independence, and cultivate a strong
family identity. Her heart is to support parents so they can support their children
to become more capable, confident, and awesome.
Based in mid-central Missouri with her husband of 20 years, Andi balances
speaking engagements with homeschooling through high school, creating and
publishing homeschool planners and resources, growing Homeschool Builders,
and managing the family campground. In her personal time, she enjoys visiting
their adult daughter and family and is a first-time grandmother.
