Python is a text-based language considered by many to be easy for beginners to learn. It uses less punctuation than most other text-based languages, and its keywords are generally more English-like. In this class, participants will learn the basics of programming in Python. They will use variables, loops, conditionals, functions, and more to write a program where the goal is to escape from a maze. This class is for students beginning around 7th grade through high school. No prior programming experience is required.
