OUR MISSION
Worldwide revival
starts at home.
Teach Them Diligently exists to support Christian families who want faith to shape their homes, their relationships, and their approach to education. We believe God transforms cultures through ordinary families who prioritize discipleship, starting right where they are.
Discipleship Requires Presence
You cannot disciple someone you are never with. Time is the first prerequisite to discipleship. Because time matters, we focus so heavily on homeschooling – not as an end in itself, but as a way to maximize time parents spend with their children.
Discipleship Flows from Growth
Discipleship is not mearly teaching. It is reproduction. It is the overflow of a growing, maturing faith passed from one life to another.
Parents are the First
Disciplers
We believe God intended sons and daughters to be discipled first by their parents. Others may influence a child’s life, but Scripture places the primary responsibility in the home.
A Sobering Reality
(and a Clear Resonse)
For years, statistics have shown that large numbers of young people walk away from their faith when they leave home.
This is a tragedy.
We believe the way forward is not found in programs alone, but in equipping parents to take their God-given role seriously.
Homeschooling is simply a tool.
We want to be clear:
- Homeschooling is not the ultimate solution.
- It is possible to homeschool and still miss the heart of discipleship.
- It is also possible to disciple children faithfully without homeschooling.
Homeschooling is not the hope. Christ is our only hope.
Our Vision
We will see waves of revival occuring when parents reclaim their role as the primary disciplers of their children. God’s Word will not return empty. It will multiply across this land. But it starts in the home. Parent – your home is your Jerusalem.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
DEUTERONOMY 6:5-7 ESV
Statement of faith
- The Bible is God’s only verbally inspired Word. It is the only inerrant word of God and the standard for faith and practice (II Tim. 3:16).
- We believe the Bible, consisting of 66 books beginning in Genesis and ending in Revelation, is inspired, complete and finished. This is the only inspired word of God. (Rev. 22:18-19)
- Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God and He is coming again (Matt. 1:23; Gal. 4:4; I Thess. 4:13–18).
- We believe that Jesus is the Christ promised in the Scriptures; the Son of God; Fully God; Fully Man.
- Salvation is by grace through simple faith in what Jesus did on the cross (Eph. 2:8–9).
- Each man is a sinner and needs to be saved (Rom. 3:23).
- You may receive Christ today by believing on Him in your heart and calling upon the Lord (Rom. 10:13).
- The earth was created by God in six literal days (Ex. 20:8–11).
- Discipleship in the home is not only necessary and essential, but it is also mandated in the Scriptures. (Deut. 6:7).
