New Partnership Helps Christian Families All Around The World

Hebrews 13:3, “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.”

Amazing Timing!

Just last night, I was reading a story regarding a pastor in a nearby country who was arrested for holding an outdoor service. In America, when we think of religious persecution, we think of sandy landscapes and huts in faraway places.

Do we feel too removed from persecution?

I think we have always felt removed and isolated from what other Christians endure especially in areas of the world that are hostile to receiving the Gospel message. Persecution seems like an impossibility to us! But, this past year changed the balance of things.

We are living in a much different world now compared to 18 months ago. And, the fact that persecution continues to increase across so many nations around the world is a strong reminder for us to come alongside our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters and pray for them, serve and support them as they advance the Great Commission at any cost.

The truth is we were never that far from it.

It’s time to take action.

This rising reality has spurred some to run for political office here in America because they want to do something. And, while I appreciate this, I think there is something that all believers can do that would be even more impactful.

What is that?

Well, it is to pray, share the stories, and directly support persecuted Christian families which is the reason I am so excited for our new premier sponsor.

Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) and Teach Them Diligently are announcing a close partnership in raising the awareness of persecuted Christians across the world. VOM believes that Christian homeschooling families specifically are integral to VOM’s overall mission of serving and supporting persecuted Christians across the world.

How can YOUR family get involved?

VOM provides all believers with the opportunity to pray and serve our persecuted Christian families where they are not welcome and equip frontline brothers and sisters with the resources they need to present the Gospel to those around them.

Over the course of our time together, as you hear and learn more about the ministry of Voice of the Martyrs (VOM), I encourage you to seek out God’s calling for how He’s leading you to support and serve frontline Christians in restricted and hostile nations around the world.

It is my prayer that through this partnership that homeschoolers will be able to tell the story of persecuted Christians as they share the Great Commission. There are so many amazing and inspiring stories of persecuted Christians that we have not heard that selflessly told the story of the Gospel under great duress and threat of harm to them and their families. VOM provides a venue for those stories to be heard and we encourage you to engage in this story as well.

We are using VOM material in our own families to pray and teach our children.

Here is the specific mission of VOM:

• To encourage and empower Christians to fulfill the Great Commission in areas of the world where they are persecuted for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

• To provide practical relief and spiritual support to the families of Christian martyrs

• To equip persecuted Christians to love and win to Christ those that are opposed to the Gospel around the world.

• To promote the fellowship of all believers through inviting them through pathways of information the world of the faith and courage of persecuted Christians thereby inspiring all believers to a deeper level of commitment to Christ and involvement in advancing His Great Commission.

Involvement allows us to be better informed, better understand, and be a voice to other believers in how to serve, equip, and support our persecuted brothers and sisters.

To start, we invite you to take the next step of receiving and reading material from Voice of the Martyrs.
