Rethink Your Rear-View Mirror

Rethink Your Rear-View Mirror

God never wastes a THING– whether big or small. He is incredibly gracious to allow us to lay our experiences on His altar, for He wants to use them to encourage others and US as we all get to know Him and His ways better. This is the third installment in a series about rethinking our relationships and God’s plan for His people through our relationships. I pray that this series has been an encouragement to your heart and helped you get excited about the mission at hand and the role God has for you to play in it!

This is a GREAT podcast series from Proverbs 31 ministries. It was recommended to my by someone that I am currently walking with through some tough times, and it was incredibly insightful not only for serving others but also for gleaning things I needed to focus on personally.  The series started on March 19 and ran for consecutive weeks. From the link below, you can listen to all the podcasts as well as access other great resources Lisa has included there.

Homeschooling Through Adversity by Sandi Queen

In 2005, Sandi Queen’s youngest son, Jeremiah, was diagnosed with cancer while the family was away from home at a homeschool convention.  What followed was 3 1/2 years of daily chemotherapy, spinal taps, bone marrow aspirates, and more.  How in the world does a family make it through daily life and continue to homeschool through an ongoing, lengthy trial such as this?  Sandi shares her family’s experience, how to prioritize, where to find strength, practical tips, and more.

If you are not yet a Teach Them Diligently 365 member, how I pray you will join us this year. This is much more than a resources site. Rather, it is a community full of women who are all passionately pursuing God’s call of home education and discipleship of their children. We chat together, share our hearts together, laugh together, and yes, sometimes even cry together. Ultimately, though, we are all GROWING together. In addition to the amazing community element, you will have access to thousands of members-only resources, audio workshops, etc. to help you on your way and to encourage you every single time you need it. We would love to have you join us there! Click here for more information and to secure a special rate!
