Innovative Ways To Use Literature to Capture Children’s Hearts | 187

Literature and good stories offer homeschool parents incredible tools to help capture our children’s hearts and give them a better understanding of biblical truths. Many great conversations have started after reading time, and many doors for discipleship have opened as we use the stories as jumping-off points for sharing our experiences and lessons learned.

On today’s podcast, Leslie is joined by the author of some of the Nunnery family’s favorite book series. The Kingdom Series, Knight Series, War of the Realms, and Star Lore Legacy series are often recommended as moms and dads ask David and Leslie about good literature for their children to read.

We’re thrilled that Chuck is planning to join us at Teach Them Diligently events in both Round Rock, TX and Pigeon Forge, TN.

Have you ever been to a Teach Them Diligently event? If not, let me tell ya, it’s hard even to encapsulate what you’re missing out on! Fellowship, fun, encouragement, equipping, laughter, growth, education, and much more await you there.

But what really sets Teach Them Diligently apart is a laser focus on lifting up Christ and the Kingdom importance of our work in our homes every single day. It’s amazing what happens when a great variety of people come together with one goal– to glorify Jesus within their homes and to teach their children diligently to love God and people and to prepare them to walk boldly through whatever door God opens for them in the days ahead.  I invite you to join us there this spring!
