Columbus Teen Program (ages 12-18)

Worldview ? Leadership ? Service ? FUN!

I Timothy 4:12 tells us to "let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."

The Columbus Four-12 program will seek to equip and train your teens to become wholly- devoted, servant-hearted biblical leaders seeking to please Christ in all they do. Four-12 will feature in-depth teaching sessions about how to grow into Christ-likeness and how they can influence the world in which they live for Christ.

Character Counts: Cultivating Christ-like Character

There is a crisis in our culture today. It is not primarily economical, political, technological, or even social, it is an integrity crisis. While the world may turn a blind eye to character flaws, in God’s economy, character still counts. How can we cultivate Christ-like character in the midst of a characterless culture? Join us for the 2019 TTD Teen Track as we discover the six pillars of godly character found in 1 Timothy 4:12 and learn how to cultivate these qualities in our lives. We can’t wait to see you at the Teen program!

Service and Leadership

We are seeking a select group of servant-hearted teens who would like to work in the children’s program during the convention. In addition to being able to serve, the teens who volunteer will also be able to enjoy the teen program on Thursday night and receive all the goodies that come with the teen program.

  • Volunteers must be available to serve the entirety of the children’s program– Friday and Saturday.
  • Families of teen volunteers will get a rebate for their entire family registration fee. (Teen volunteer families get in free!!)

Please visit the volunteer page to sign up and indicate you would like to serve in the Children’s Program.

What is the Four-12 teen program?

The four-12 teen program is designed to equip teens to love God and exemplify God’s love to those around them. The theme for the four-12 teen program this year is “Character Counts:  Cultivating Christ-like Character ” Teens will be studying in-depth the meaning of 1 Timothy 4:12, discovering the six pillars of Godly character, and learning how to apply these characteristics in their lives. We can’t wait to see them at the four-12 teen program!

What would a teen do in the program?
Teens have an incredible opportunity to learn about God’s Word in multiple teaching sessions throughout the day and participate in fun and exciting activities. In addition to the teaching sessions, teens interact with one another in small group discussions and begin to apply the truths they are learning.
Can my teen bring snacks/food/drinks with them?
Yes, it is fine to bring food into the teen room. There are many short breaks between sessions and activities for students to grab a snack.
Are my teens in sessions at the same times I am?
Yes, teen sessions and meals are scheduled at the same times as the adult sessions and meals. Teens do not need to be checked in and/or out of the Four-12 program, however, we do request they not leave the program during sessions or between sessions without first letting a teen program leader know.
