When we started Teach Them Diligently in 2011 it really stemmed from a deep conviction that God was calling us to something more than just education. David had transitioned to leading Worldwide Tentmakers, a missions organization, and we felt God impressing upon us the need to start a business that could support missions and reach families with the Gospel. We had only been homeschooling for a year ourselves, so we certainly weren’t experts, but we felt a burden for homeschool families and saw a crucial need for events that celebrated discipleship in home education.

Our core mission has always been to help families understand that parenting is the Great Commission unfolding in their home, their Jerusalem. We wanted to move beyond homeschooling simply as an academic exercise and instead focus on helping parents raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, equipping them to embrace their role as the primary disciple-makers of their children. It’s about strengthening marriages, pointing families back to Christ, and helping them live purposefully with a clear family mission. We hope to have you join us in this mission!
