What We Will Cover Over the Weekend
- Recognize Your Call- This is where most families get off track (right when they start). We’ll walk through the mission you’ve been given until it’s crystal clear. Truly understanding your mission gives clarity, direction, confidence, and focus in removing distractions that compete for your time and energy each day. We will speak and workshop your calling and applying it to your daily experience to make sure husband and wife are on the same page with the right vision.
- Re-Align Your Thinking- This is where the rubber meets the road. Now that you know your mission, we help you apply it to every aspect of your homeschool and home. This is more practical as we cover how to work your mission through your home and remove barriers and distractions that detract from your mission.
- Refine Your Vision- How you define success will transform the atmosphere of your home, so we’ll look at how you’re measuring success and what benchmarks and goals you’ve set for your family. Refining your vision will take a ton of pressure off and usher in a new sense of joy and accomplishment.
- Refocus on Relationships- You have organized your entire life around helping your children thrive and become successful. We’ll dive into how you can ensure that you’re strengthening your relationships with them and with your spouse instead of allowing home education to become a wedge that stresses every relationship within your home. This is the point excellent home education and how the two actually function better together.
- Realize Your Potential- So often we see science and empirical data backing up the truths we find in God’s Word. We’ll look at how research shows the impact and importance of parental engagement in the lives of their children and how your investment in their lives helps them excel spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically.
- Restore Order- Application. Interactive and practical application in building out your heart school. We will bring all of the teaching together in a workshop to personalize the conceptual framework for the daily functioning of your heart school. Your days will never be the same.
- Relish the Adventure- Your daily choices impact your family’s joy in the journey. We’ll look at positive and negative choices that can make a big difference as your family grows and how you can be much more resilient in staying on task and on track with your Heart School Mission.

I had never thought about being born for heart schooling. It did change my outlook because my husband and I believe that homeschooling is so much more than excellent academia,but could never quite verbalize what that looked like practically. I think I’ve found myself stuck in the homeschool as an idol category, and also...stick with me here, raising Godly kids as an idol. I know that sounds nuts, but sometimes it is such an overwhelming task, and I think about it a lot. Then I fret and worry, feel anxious. I wanna know I’m doing everything I can to not be a stumbling block (which ironically is what I feel I’ve been being) the past few months, I think Hod has been trying to draw me to a place of, “just seek Me! Follow Me. Abide on Me! All of that other stuff your concerned about will follow” The reminders in this intensive have been INVALUABLE in tearing down those idols in my own heart.
