Secret Garden is a special education company dedicated to supporting homeschooling families in their journey of educating their children. Good education is incredibly important today. Our vision is that every child will be able to receive a quality education at the school of their choice or within the home, regardless of learning differences. There are many tools to support students at home and most parents are already providing the “accommodations” that students receive in school, such as extended time for tests, individual support, re-teaching and student paced courses.
Secret Garden supports students with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning disabilities with a focus on language based learning struggles. Disabilities can include but are not limited to: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, executive function, Autism Spectrum, global learning delays, comprehension and retention struggles, slow processing speed, and general learning struggles. We have over a decade of experience working directly with homeschooling families. Founded on research-proven methods combined with classical philosophy, our aim is to help students unlock hidden potential with a classical approach. The methods that we use are not specific to one subject or curriculum; they equip the student to approach and tackle any subject in any class.
We do not want families to feel that they need to turn to the public schools to receive the support their student requires. Rather, we hope to bridge this gap with essential intervention and parent education to effectively support students in the learning environment.
