Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) is a private Christian university in Mount Vernon, Ohio. It was founded in 1968 by the Church of the Nazarene and offers a variety of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees to both traditional and non-traditional students. In addition to traditional students, MVNU welcomes a variety of non-traditional students including Dual Enrollment students (online and on-campus), students from overseas through our International Executive Studies program, and students with intellectual disabilities through our Ignite Program. MVNU provides numerous summer activities to students of all ages through Academic and Athletic camps. Students who attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University are looking for more than just a job after graduation. They want to change the world with the love of Christ. Through diverse learning experiences on and off campus, students widen their understanding of the world and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to challenge the status quo.
