His Word in Me grew out of a love for the Bible in my own heart when I heard the gospel as a teenager for the first time. I was so thrilled about knowing Christ in a personal way that I became hungry to memorize and meditate on his Word. When we married and our children came along, the desire of my heart was for them to know the Lord and love his Word at an early age, and I began to put Scripture verses to tunes so they could learn them more easily. Eventually I began to teach them to the children at our church, and as our wonderful grandchildren have come along, they’ve inspired many other songs about lessons that little ones need to learn. I pray that these will be a blessing to you and the children who are touched by your life.
