The Hillsdale College K-12 Education Office’s mission is to promote American Classical Education nationwide, so that students may be educated in the liberal arts and sciences and receive instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue. We collaborate with parents, teachers, school leaders, board members, and policy makers to revive the American tradition of K-12 education in homes and classrooms across the nation.

Literacy Essentials: s a comprehensive literacy program for grades K-3 that combines the sound linguistic theory of an Orton-based literacy program with an easy-to-use format and a beautiful style.
Core Virtues: a literature-based approach to moral education for children in grades K-6, providing age-appropriate literature, fables, poems, biographies, and fairy tales that present powerful images of good and evil.
