Learn how to do art with these art classes!
There is a variety of art lessons your child will have the opportunity to participate in, thanks to Creating a Masterpiece!
Your child will be able to take home a beautiful piece of artwork that they created!
Class registration is just $25 per child, per lesson and includes all the supplies they will need to create their masterpiece. Check out some of the lesson types below that will be available for your child to take and some examples of the art-piece they will be making!
PLEASE NOTE: Registration includes only one of these class times. If you wish your child to attend multiple classes you will need to register them for each individual time you’d like them to attend.

Classes Offered
Lessons in Scratch Art: The Goldfish (Ages 9 and Up)
Scratch art is a fun and unique style of art. In this project students learn to plan and implement their design. Sharon will then show students a way to enhance the project with color. The simple techniques taught in this project will provide a foundation for many gorgeous fine art projects using scratch art.

Lessons in Oil Pastel: Winter Cabin (Ages 6 and up)Cuddle up in the cozy warmth of this snowed in cabin. The glow of the fire fills the cabin with light that bursts from its windows. Sooth your artistic soul as you create this heartwarming scene of a secluded cabin surrounded by a frozen wonderland. In this project Sharon will teach students every step of turning velour paper and oil pastels into a masterpiece you will be proud of.

Lessons in Pencil: Polar Exploration (Ages 6 and up)Adventurers and explorers have been drawn to the Arctic Pole region for centuries. As you travel north toward the pole you will find many different natural wonders and landscapes. Imagine you are part of an expedition to the Arctic Wilderness. As you travel you find yourself viewing this stunning vista. You stop and pull out your pencil to capture it. How would you begin? What if you had white pencil? In this project Sharon will guide you through the process of drawing this winter wonderland. You will learn how to use white pencil to create a masterpiece you will treasure.

This workshop is designed for students 6+. Suggested age may be higher on some of the classes.
Previous art experience is a plus, but not required for these classes! Beginners will have just as much fun with these classes as those with experience!
