Learn how to do art with these art classes!
There is a variety of art lessons your child will have the opportunity to participate in, thanks to Creating a Masterpiece! This class is available for children 7 years of age and up, and your child will be able to take home a beautiful piece of artwork that they created!
Class registration is just $25 per child, per lesson and includes all the supplies they will need to create their masterpiece. Check out some of the lesson types below that will be available for your child to take and some examples of the art-piece they will be making!
PLEASE NOTE: Registration includes only one of these class times. If you wish your child to attend multiple classes you will need to register them for each individual time you’d like them to attend.

Classes Offered
Lessons in Soft Pastel: Hydrangeas (Ages 7 and Up)
Hydrangeas are gorgeous. They exude color and are strikingly beautiful. Hydrangeas are also a great subject for a newer artist to create. As student progress through this project they will learn how to apply the pastel, how to blend it, and the basic steps to developing a fine art project.
When: Thursday, May 4th 2023, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Lessons in Inktense: Spanish Flowers (Ages 10 and up)Spain is a land of striking cultural and geographical beauty. It touches the Mediterranean Sea. It contains beautiful mountains, olive oil fields, and vast plateaus. One of the most striking characteristics is the flowers that the climate allows to grow there. The flowers that grow in Spain have been prized for centuries. In this project Sharon will teach students to create striking flowers with Inktense
When: Friday, May 5th 2023, 3:45pm – 5:00pm
Lessons in Caran D’Ache: Jellyfish (Ages 10 and up)Dive into your artistic dreams with this project. This project employs watercolor techniques to achieve a stunningly fluid and colorful result. The Jellyfish is the perfect subject for this media as it reflects colors, exhibits different values, and in some areas appears almost transparent. Students will grow in their Caran D’Ache skills as they learn the techniques needed to create this beautiful project.

This workshop is designed for students 7+. Suggested age may be higher on some of the classes.
Previous art experience is a plus, but not required for these classes! Beginners will have just as much fun with these classes as those with experience!
