Offered at each Convention location, this Program offers more intensive training than what is available in the normal 4:12 track. It starts on Thursday and includes a day of intensive training in leading others, followed by two days of serving them. In so doing, attendees follow the example of Jesus, Who washed His disciples’ feet, saying, “… the servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, happy are ye if ye do them” (John 13:16). This intensive program is limited to around 50 young people at each site, all of whom will get a chance to do “these things” throughout the Convention weekend. The Servant Leadership track includes a T-shirt for all participants.
After a full day of training, the teens will earn a Certificate of Completion and serve in theBattle for Truth children’s program. A registration in the Servant Leadership track, which is free and includes supper on Thursday, requires a commitment to attending the entire Convention – from early Thursday through the last session on Saturday. Young people will need to choose between the Servant Leadership Track and participation in the regular Four-12 Teen Track. Space for the Servant Leadership Track is almost full so Register Today!
Thursday, 12-9 p.m., Workshops and Training for Program. (Please bring your teen having eaten lunch and ready to learn; dinner will be provided by Teach Them Diligently.) Following are descriptions of some of the workshops that will be offered on Thursday.
*Omaha’s Servant Leadership Descriptions will be different, because it will be led by Lou Priolo. We will send that out a little closer to the Omaha Convention.
“Principle of Servant Leadership”- This principle is the centerpiece of the Leadership Conference, walking each young person through why and how Jesus Christ lead us not by ruling over us, but by serving us. We will learn together what it means to “lay aside our crowns, pick up a towel and wash dirty feet” whether we are at home, church or work.
“Principle of Choice” – Leadership is influence, the ability to influence someone in a direction you think is important. So, how does a leader make choices that really matter at home, church or work? When we make choices, we will always make choices to favor the one we love the most. The Principle of Choice” shows us who that is.
“Principle of Preeminence”- This principle walks us through the question of who or what is most important to us in our lives. It will include learning about two very strong tools to help leaders counsel themselves before they make decisions about anything.
“God-pleasing Principles”- a listing of several rock-solid, Bible principles that clarify how leaders can be an influence wherever they may be. It is also the proven way to help friends who are struggling. These God-pleasing principles may be few, but they are powerful.
“Principle of Change”- How does a leader grow? Instruction will be given as to how to make devotions and Bible study come alive for every leader.
“Case Studies”- Student Leaders will participate in small group discussions which put the principles to work right where they live.
Friday-Saturday, 8:45 a.m.-6:15 p.m., Service (Teens should plan to join their families for lunch at 12:15 p.m. and return to the Children’s Program area by 1 p.m. each day.)
Servant Leaders who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion, indicating their willingness to share of themselves that others’ lives might be impacted. T-shirts are also given to all Servant Leaders to be worn throughout the weekend. Teach Them Diligently will provide 1 t-shirt per teen, but you will have the option of purchasing an additional shirt if you’d like.
If you have any additional questions about the program, please don’t hesitateto let me know; otherwise, we look forward to seeing you soon and surely appreciate your child’s willing service to Him! Your young person will benefit from this training in Christ.
If for any reason, they are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible! Also, please note that, due to the expectations of the Servant Leadership program, teens are NOT able to be enrolled in both the Servant Leadership Track and the 4:12 Teen Track.
Thank you for your understanding and, again, for your child’s willingness to partner with the Teach Them Diligently Convention!

Servant Leadership Coordinator
