This year has been crazy busy for our family. God has grown Teach Them Diligently in ways that we would have never imagined. We stand amazed at His great work in the lives of many who have attended TTD events this year.
He has also been growing our family– growing up, that is. When we started Teach Them Diligently, I had 4 young children, so homeschooling them and working was relatively easy. Now, I simply cannot do it all. We have teenagers who need a lot more attention and whose schooling takes a lot more time and oversight. The blog has been one thing that I have had to cut out for a while as we have worked through second semester and 2 conventions so far this season.
I have missed writing, though! So today I want to share with you some of the great helps I have found this semester. I have been sharing a lot of them on Facebook and Twitter, but for those of you who are not on those platforms, I thought I’d pass them on to you as well! So, grab a cup of coffee and click through to some of these– there are lots of freebies, insights and more!
Parenting/Discipleship
“To the Well-Intentioned, but Ignorant Parents of Teenagers,” from Kayla Nicole’s blog. This is a very good post about social media/ internet usage among teens. The author is a young teacher who really wants parents to understand the platforms out there and the risks of them. Some of the platforms she addresses I had never heard of.
