College, Change, and Your Family...
As your child prepares to head off to college, there are many changes ahead for everyone involved. As parents, you’re both excited and a bit terrified by the prospect of making the drive to campus knowing that you’ll be turning over your child’s care and supervision to others. When you return home, life will be different with one of the seats at the dinner table sitting empty. As a homeschooled student, you wonder if you are prepared for the academic and social changes and challenges that lay ahead. All of these changes and questions are natural and yet can be unsettling and appear daunting. We’ll talk through the challenge of change, and remove the mystery of what awaits, as life on a college campus draws near.
