Homeschool Twitter Party
We love our fun community and spending time chatting and growing fellowship in real life and online. One of the ways we enjoy doing that is through twitter parties with vendors and speakers attending the Teach Them Diligently Conventions.
Our last party was held during the afternoon and we really enjoyed that. We could tell you did too, as it trended #1 and we all enjoyed a fantastic hour in fellowship, fun and prizes.
So, we are ready to have another one!
On Thursday, February 28th at 3pm Eastern, we will host a twitter party with Answers in Genesis and Logic of English. We heard through the grape vine that Ken Ham could possibly make a cameo appearance and that Denise Eide will be getting her feet wet in twitter land!
How do I attend a Twitter Party?
Never tried “the Twitter” before? It’s easy! To participate, all you need to do is visit www.Twitter.com and sign up for a free account (be sure to follow @TeachDiligently @AIG @CreationMuseum @AIGKenHam and @LogicofEnglish for the latest convention news and the party!). Once you’ve done that, log in at 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 28th and use the hashtag #hsttd to join in the fun. Apps likeTweetDeck and TweetChat are great ways to further enhance your experience and make following the fast-paced discussion much easier
Will there be good prizes?
We can’t wait to see you. We want to make this a fun afternoon – and not keep you too long from your family. Perhaps they can sit with you and cheer along as we have fun asking questions and giving our prizes. Most of all, we just want to spend a little time with you before our conventions and get to know you! And, of course, you must be ‘present’ to win.
Can’t wait to ‘tweet’ you there!
